Abaasa Pitson

Pitson is a Candidate Attorney at the firm. Hee specialized in corporate law, ADR, debt recovery and labor related matters.

He has handled a number of clients’ corporate matters to include; incorporation of entities from the ground up extending to the registration of company tins, trading licences, statutory registrations for permits, licenses to mention a few.

Pitson has also supported businesses and charitable organisations, reviewed their corporate structure, compliance with internal and regulatory requirements as well as advised on good corporate governance practices and international best practice.

He has also participated in training of organisations on policy and regulatory laws to include: Reviews on human resources policies, the anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, employment law and tax compliance.

Pitson has worked on a number of assignments to include but not limited to; the preparation of legal opinions on ADR matters and commercial transactions; due diligence reports on conveyancing and intellectual property matters; drafting of contracts and related documentation.

Hee also specializes in debt collection and has assisted both corporate and individual clients to recover their debts.

He holds a Bachelors of Law from the Makerere University, Kampala, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala.
