Naomi is one-third of the dynamic partners that head Ivory Advocates spearheading our Business Development and Strategy. Her 11-year experience in the legal field has awarded her expertise in various branches of the law.
She has ample experience as a corporate and commercial law practitioner in both our local and international markets. She is well-versed in labour/employment law, immigration law, conveyancing and Human Resources. She currently heads the labour and conveyancing functions within the firm with fervent diligence in leadership.
Her dedication and knowledge of the resolution of labour disputes are to be admired. She has represented both employees and employers in all manner of employment disputes such as contract drafting, disciplinary hearings, and unpaid wage claims to mention a few.
She possesses a wide range of successful land transactions/conveyancing matters under her belt. She also specialises in debt collection assisting both corporate and individual clients in recovering their respective debts.
Naomi holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere
University; and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
She also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Herriot Watt, Edinburgh.
She sits as a Director and Corporation Secretary on many Boards offering guidance on corporate governance and compliance.
She is a member of both Uganda and East African Law Societies, a Commissioner of Oaths, and is the current Treasurer for The East African Law Society.
