Shane is the other third of Ivory Advocates. She is currently the Managing Partner. She has 13 years of experience as a legal practitioner, ably providing business consultancy and legal services to clients with a special focus on the incorporation of a business, restructuring, and winding up of said entities.

Shane is the Head of the Corporate, Energy and Infrastructure Functions of the firm. Her experience in advising international and local clients in both private and public spheres in asset financing, private equity, corporate financing, project financing as well as mergers and acquisitions is exemplary. 

Her extended experience in commercial transactions alone ranges from capital markets, energy, telecommunications, transport, infrastructure projects, debt recovery, and general litigation to arbitration and mediation. There are no limitations to her expertise making her an added asset to the firm.

She sits as a Director and Corporation Secretary on several Boards of companies and guides compliance, good corporate governance practices as well as international best practices. Shane has conducted several board evaluations and assessments as well as board development training. Shane understands the vast dynamics that stem from family law and is keen to provide the best solutions concerning family matters.

Shane holds a Master of Laws in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. Shane also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala and a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University, Kampala.

Shane is also an accredited Mediator with a certificate from the California State Bar in partnership with the Intellectual Property Rights Initiative. She is a member of Uganda and East African law societies and a Commissioner for Oaths.
